2003 AND 2005 KEY SKILLS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

CLIENT: KEY SKILLS SUPPORT PROGRAMME

The Key Skills Support Programme commissioned us to oversee the production of a CPD module accredited by Plymouth University for those involved in delivering and planning key skills. Our task was to edit, design, layout and produce a text booklet as well as specify, architect and build an accompanying CD containing resource materials.
We subsequently carried out revisions for the second edition of the materials, for both print and electronic (CD) components.

2004 PLANNING AND RECORDING LEARNING AND ACHIEVEMENT

CLIENT: LEARNING AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

The LSDA asked us to project manage the production and printing of a 150 page guide for basic skills teachers and tutors. This involved specifying the final product, overseeing all production processes and buying the print for 20,000 copies!

2002 AND 2006 KEY SKILLS RESOURCE MANUAL AND KEY SKILLS CO-ORDINATORS’ HANDBOOK

CLIENT: KEY SKILLS SUPPORT PROGRAMME/LEARNING AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

Pilgrim Projects have been responsible for the project management of the development and production of these two complex projects for teachers and lecturers involved in the delivery of key skills in schools and colleges. Our involvement has spanned the lifetime of the two projects, from inception to delivery of printed materials, and we were recently asked to oversee the revision of the two titles to bring them into line with recent policy changes. We have liaised closely with subject experts as well as designers, editors, proof readers and printers to ensure timely completion of an exacting project.

2005 IT’S THE BUSINESS: ENGAGING EMPLOYERS IN IMPROVING ON-THE-JOB LEARNING

We were responsible for the editing, production and printing of this book on improving work-based learning, part of the LSDA’s Quality Improvement Programme.

2004 DIFFERENTIATION IN ESOL TEACHING: NOTES TO ACCOMPANY THE VIDEO

CLIENT: LEARNING AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

Pilgrim Projects were invited to prepare the video notes for this English for Speakers of Other Languages project, part of the Skills for Life framework. We edited, designed, laid out and printed the booklet, ensuring consistency with the video.
